DREAM REUNITES EARTH and ALL MANKIND
The purpose of DREAM club is to raise awareness of diversity issues at CKJH. It provides activities to help students accept cultural differences, and promotes tolerance and unity. All students are welcome to be a part of the DREAM club, and new members are accepted at any time.
Activities
-Each year, DREAM hosts the Martin Luther King assembly. The assembly consists of student and adult speakers, musical presentations, and multicultural entertainment.
-The DREAM club hosts the Mix-It-Up-At-Lunch day, in November , as part of a national activity. On this day, students are encouraged to cross social boundaries, eat lunch with new people, and make new friends .
- DREAM club attends the Kitsap Youth Rally every Spring. This year we had some of our members participate and perform some traditional Polynesian dances.
