| | Welcome to the 2009/2019 School year!
Download a copy of your course syllabi (Objectives and Expectations) below. I want students to share it with their parents. If you have any questions or need to contact me for any reason at all, please e-mail me at sandyh@cksd.wednet.edu. or call 662-2531
- You need a dedicated math notebook. A 1 1/2 or 2 inch 3-ring binder is perfect. You are going to keep your work to make your own book of notes called your toolkit. If you don't have a good notebook with sectional dividers your toolkit will be way less useful than it should be.
- A graphing calculator such as the Texas Instruments 83+ (regular or silver edition), 84+ (regular or silver edition), or N-Spire will be used nearly every day by students in all of my classes.
- Graph paper is perfect for keeping math assignments organized and since we will be doing lots of sketching and graphing, doing all your assignments on graph paper makes things just that much easier.
- Each of the sections below has a link to retreive the applicable course syllabus. You will need an Adobe Acrobat Reader to display the .pdf file. Click here for a link to a free download: http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html
Tutoring: Math Help is available from one of our Math Teachers every Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday in the library from 3-4 PM. A math teacher is also in the library 0700-0745 on Tuesday mornings. Longer term tutors can also be arranged by submitting a request slip to the volunteer coordinator in the library. Either student or adult volunteer tutors are available. There is no charge for this program.
Sincerely, Mr. Harris.
