9th grade English -- Book Report Forms          (Special Thanks to Mr. Carl Wirsching at CKJH for the creation of these materials!)

Book reports are done on independently selected books.  Students are free to choose any book from the accompanying list of books already approved by the Central Kitsap School District (CKSD); OR a book from the list of those approved by their English teacher and requiring written parent permission;  OR any book for which the student has obtained written permission from both parent and teacher.

Following the Book  Lists are the forms to be used for book reports.  They are posted as PDF files so you don't need to be running Microsoft Word to use them.  You can print any of these that you need.

"LANGUAGE!" (8th & 9th grade Tier-III Reading & Writing Intervention)

This course emphasizes phonics, spelling, vocabulary and morphology in an intensive, 2-period block class designed to help students become more fluent readers and writers, to help them understand more of what they read, and to help them express that understanding in writing.

There will be one to two homework assignments each week.

Students are expected to bring an independent reading book of their choice to class EVERY DAY.
