Students should be using their Planners each day to write down assignments. Assignments are posted on the white board in my classroom each morning.  If a student is absent they need make sure they get the assignments that they miss.  There is a lot of work being turned in late. Students need to keep up on assignments and due dates.

We started Reading Logs the week of 9/28/09. Reading Logs are due every Thursday. I am not requiring parent signatures on the reading log. My goal is to see what they are reading and how they are responding to the novels that they choose. For the month of October, students are required to read a Mystery nove.

Our first Book Project is due Friday, 10/16.
